When I try to log-in, this error shows up: "could not load file system.security.authentication.extendedprotection"

Usually the reason for this error is because the .NET framework may not be working properly in the device.

Solution:

Go to Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Uninstall .NET Framework
Reinstall the .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1 (Full Package) from the following URL
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=25150
Restart Viper and you will have no problem logging in.
